About the Opportunity:
- Lead a long-running palliative-care program based at a 414-bed acute-care community teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
- The program provides specialized support for people living with serious illness, with an emphasis on quality of life and relief of physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual distress. Importantly, palliative care is not limited to the last days of life and does not mean that curative treatment has to stop
