Urology Physician Locums Job in Indiana
Details/Requirements for Assignment:
90-120 day credentialing timeline
Board Certification required
Active Indiana license required
Coverage needed due to physician resignation
Schedule: Monday-Thursday Clinic and OR coverage (preference for locum to cover the call for their own patients, but not required)
OR usually Monday + Wednesday, Clinic Tuesday + Thursday
No resident supervision required
APP Support: Clinic APP support; physician required to supervise Clinic APP
Caseload: Average 17 office/clinic surgeries per week and 6 hospital based surgeries
Lab and Xray onsite
3 exam rooms
Practice Mix: 100% Adult - 5% Inpatient 95% Outpatient
Team: 1 other Urologist 1 APP
Office/Clinical Support: 2 RNs 1 LPN 3 MAs 6 office support staff
Procedures/Clinical Scope: Required: Adult General Urology Ureteroscopy ESWL; Preferred: Advanced Endoscopic Techniques Laparoscopic Surgery Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy Radical Prostatectomy Prostatectomy Pelvic Node Dissection Renal & Bladder Ultrasound Renal/Bladder Ultrasound with Biopsy TRUS Biopsies; Not Required: Pediatric Urology Neonatal Urology Radical Cystectomy with Ileal-Loop Conduit Nephrectomy Robotic Surgery Adrenalectomy Fertility Work-Up Incontinence Procedures Penile Prosthesis Brachytherapy Renal Transplant Surgery Advanced Pediatric Surgery; Laser: Holmium
Equipment: Disposable cystoscope General reusable office-based procedure equipment
EMR: Epic in both clinic and hospital
Referral/transfer support approximately 85 miles away
