Coverage Details
Coverage dates: December 27 - Ongoing
Credentialing time frame: 30 days (Temporary privileging available)
There will be additional dates needed on a monthly basis
Shift Details
10-14 day stretches with rotating call and available clinic shifts
Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The provider on call will assist in the clinic during the day for urgent matters
Call response time: 15 minutes
Requirements
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Iowa license or IMLC
Active ABLS
Active ACLS
Active ATLS
Active BLS
Active PALS
Required Procedures / Skills
FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
Routine delivery
Vaginal delivery
Assignment Details
Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Outpatient and inpatient practice settings
15-20 patients per shift
Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 3 PAs/NPs, and 2 office staff
PEDs Level: 2
Average number of deliveries per year: 238
For call, they do about 30-40 deliveries a month
Hospital does not have a NICU
