Job description

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage in Texas.This is an inpatient opportunity with ERCP responsibilities and call coverage at a suburban Level II trauma facility.

Overview

  • Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage
  • Perform ERCP
  • Participate in call coverage
  • Respond to call requests in less than 10 minutes
  • Return to the site within 30 minutes when required
  • Complete charting in real time or by the end of the shift
  • No walk-ins or urgent care responsibilities
  • Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric patient population
  • EMR: Cerner

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active Texas state license required
  • Required certification: ERCP experience/competency
