Position Overview:
A health system in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP on an ongoing basis. The role involves a combination of outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, daily consults, and beeper call. Immediate priorities include holiday coverage for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Temporary privileges are available with an expedited 14-day credentialing timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide combination coverage of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding (2 4 patients/day), and consult responses (5 7 consults/day).
- Provide beeper call coverage (typically 3 4 days of call per week).
- Perform core adult urological procedures, including ureteroscopy and general urology interventions.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation, rounding notes, and orders.
- Work alongside dedicated clinic and inpatient support staff, including 2 PAs/NPs and specialized nursing personnel.
