Urology Physician Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as a urology physician or urologist
- Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery in Urological Surgery
- Active Pennsylvania physician license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility is also welcomed
- Adult urology experience required
- Clinical proficiency with ureteroscopy, transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsies, and incontinence procedures
- Ability to provide timely urology consultations and inpatient management
Urologist Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient urology clinic care and scheduled call coverage
- Round on approximately 2-4 inpatients and coordinate appropriate treatment plans
- Respond promptly to an average of 5-7 urology consults
- Evaluate and treat adult patients across a broad range of general urologic conditions
- Perform or support required procedures, including ureteroscopy, transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsies, and incontinence procedures
- Participate in requested Thanksgiving, Christmas, and additional holiday coverage
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, and procedural teams to deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care
