An internal medicine practice in Waldorf, Maryland, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its team. Position Offers
- Competitive pay: $130,000 $150,000 per year
- Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and internal medicine care, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
- Perform annual wellness exams and preventive screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease management, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted Maryland NP license
- Current national NP board certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
