Facility:This regional medical center is a Level 3 trauma facility serving the Paris, Texas community and surrounding areas. The department features 3 pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds, providing essential pediatric and neonatal care services to the region with strong support services including 24-hour access to anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, radiology, and orthopedic surgery.
Opportunity:Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatrics
Job Details:- Locum Tenens coverage needed 1 weekend per month through July
- Call only position with 7a-7a shifts
- 4-8 patient encounters per shift
- Must hold an active Texas license or IMLC
- Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
- Pediatric inpatient care required
- Nursery Level I coverage required
- Attendance at C-sections and high-risk deliveries required
- Non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP/CPAP) required
- Pediatric ventilation management (acute and chronic) required
- Newborn and pediatric intubation required
- Central line placement required
- Nearest airports: DFW or Love Field
- Lodging available at Holiday Inn
