The facility features a 10-bed department supported by a collaborative team of permanent providers and nurse practitioners, ensuring a well-rounded and supportive clinical environment.
Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:- Provide locum tenens coverage including both clinic and call coverage on an ongoing basis
- Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-12pm
- Average of 15-20 patient encounters per day in the clinic setting
- Work alongside one permanent provider and three nurse practitioners plus nursing support in the clinic
- Provider on call will assist in clinic during the day for urgent matters
- Call coverage supports approximately 30-40 deliveries per month
- Schedule consists of 10-14 day stretches with rotating call
- Must have FHR interpretation skills including NST/CST/FSE
- Routine and vaginal deliveries required
- Hospital utilizes Meditech; clinics utilize Athena
- Iowa license or IMLC required
- Board certification required; ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
- Start date upon credentialing; ongoing need beginning December 27, 2026
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
