JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: Oncology/surgical oncology experience required; surgical background, GI, oncology, HPB preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Preferred: surgical background, GI, oncology, HPB experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Round on all Atlanta Liver and Pancreas in-patients during weekend shifts.
  • Take weekend call from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, communicating urgent concerns to the attending physician.
  • Create inpatient notes and complete outstanding discharge summaries.
  • Perform new patient consults and prepare weekend sign-out for all patients rounded on.
  • Provide pre-visit chart preparation and review for clinic patients as needed.
