About the Role
Medley Health is looking for a compassionate Physician or Nurse Practitioner for a part-time opportunity providing on-site pain management services across assisted living facilities. You'll work independently with strong administrative support, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to manage residents' pain through medication management and interventional procedures.
What You'll Do
Perform comprehensive pain management evaluations and follow-up visits in assisted living settings
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions in older adult populations
Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations
Perform in-office interventional procedures such as joint injections and trigger-point injections
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on safe, effective pain control
Document assessments and progress notes accurately and timely
Communicate recommendations to facility clinical teams and assist with care transitions as needed

Qualifications - Physician (MD/DO)
MD or DO with experience in pain management; Board Certification/Eligibility in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, PM&R, or a related field preferred
Active New York medical license
Active DEA license required
Experience performing joint and/or trigger-point injections
Experience in assisted living, geriatric care, or related settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills
