REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC (NCCPA) required
  • Licenses: Active NY Physician Assistant License, DEA with NY address
  • DEA / CDS: DEA registration with NY address and schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, V
  • Certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
  • Experience: New graduates considered; training provided
  • Other Qualifications: Minimum 50 Category I CME credits in past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, current immunizations (flu, PPD, physical, N95 fit test, titers)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department under physician supervision.
  • Perform moderate sedation procedures as required.
  • Document patient encounters in Meditech EMR.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and attending physicians.
  • Participate in coverage shifts of 11-20 hours daily, including 9AM-7PM and 3PM-12AM shifts.
