REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Moderate Sedation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Active certification through NCCPA
  • Licenses: Active NY PA license, DEA with NY address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NY address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 & 5; CDS as required by state
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (AHA)
  • Other Qualifications: Documentation of CME/CEU for past 2 years; case logs for past 2 years; current immunizations (Flu, PPD/Chest Xray, Physical, N95 fit test, titers)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team
  • Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR
  • Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory requirements
