Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Job description

Coverage: Call Only
Call Type: Beeper Call
Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
Coverage: 1 weekend per month through July
EMR: MediTech
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Trauma Level: III
Pediatric Level: I

Call Details:

  • 30-minute response time
  • Approximately 2 3 phone consults per call
  • 1 2 patients seen per call
  • 1 2 admissions per call
  • Call covers both new and established patients
  • Average 4 8 patients per shift

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Active Texas license or IMLC
  • BLS and PALS required
  • Pediatric Hospitalist experience

Clinical Details:

  • Inpatient pediatric coverage
  • Pediatric and newborn care
  • Admissions required
  • 3 pediatric beds and 14 nursery beds
  • No APP supervision required
