Family Medicine Physician Job Requirements
- Board certified or board certification eligible in Family Medicine
- Valid physician licensure appropriate for practice in Georgia
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of Family Medicine or outpatient primary care experience
- Ability to evaluate and manage patients across the lifespan
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and medical documentation skills
- Must be a local candidate
Family Medicine Physician Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to pediatric, adult, and older adult patients
- Conduct approximately 20 patient encounters during each scheduled workday
- Perform medical histories and physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
- Manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, preventive care, and health maintenance needs
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care
