Schedule: Day Shift position
Responsibilities:
• Examine slides to detect cellular abnormalities and potential signs of disease.
• Record data and ensure proper documentation for accurate and efficient record-keeping.
• Communicate information/issues to the supervisor/manager to ensure smooth laboratory operations and address concerns.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist and maintain QA/QC programs and monitors, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Must perform within productivity expectations as outlined in current departmental guidelines to ensure timely analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree: A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cytotechnology, Medical Technology, or a related biological/life science field is required.
- CT ASCP Certified
