The position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art outpatient office in Delray Beach. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and goals, ensuring comprehensive documentation of findings as well as functional and physical assessments.
  • Implementing and modifying evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, including techniques for pain management, strength training, and mobility enhancement.
  • Consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and necessary adjustments to treatment plans, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to care.
  • Collaborating with patients to set achievable rehabilitation goals while providing education on self-management strategies to enhance recovery.
  • Documenting patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes with meticulous accuracy to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
  • Conducting follow-up assessments to track progress, deliver ongoing support, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participating in team meetings to contribute insights and updates on patient care, as well as adhering to corporate training and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from various orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This includes individuals with post-surgical conditions, sports injuries, chronic pain, and degenerative disorders. Your role is critical in helping these patients regain function, mobility, and quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required, preference will be given to candidates with specialized training in manual therapy techniques or experience in an outpatient clinical setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong background in patient education are advantageous.
