We are seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Licensed Physical Health Therapist to join our team at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center in Fresno, California. Work Environment
As a full-time Physical Health Therapist, you will work in a collaborative outpatient office environment alongside a team of two experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The setting encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing, fostering a sense of community where patient care is our top priority. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' physical abilities, concerns, and rehabilitation goals.
- Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions, ensuring that each patient is receiving optimal care.
- Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, maintaining quality and efficiency in treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Utilize EMR software platforms like WebPT to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
- Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them to adhere to their rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, referring patients when needed to optimize care and facilitate recovery.
- Promote health and wellness through lifestyle education, emphasizing the importance of strength, flexibility, and balance.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic primarily serves patients in the orthopedic rehabilitation spectrum, including those recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. By understanding our patients' unique backgrounds and rehabilitation goals, you can tailor your approach to achieve the best outcomes.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
- Must possess valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
- A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
- Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise regimens targeted towards improving patient outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is a plus.
- Ability to leverage evidence-based treatment methodologies effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
