We are seeking a Registered and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician to become part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist. You will provide excellent customer service. You will have the opportunity, over time, to grow as a team member, and the opportunity to become a certified vaccine administrator and certified compounder, paid by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Provide excellent, positive, and friendly customer service in person, over the phone, and by text messaging.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmacy
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and friendly demeanor, to enhance patient outcomes
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills

Greenbriar Pharmacy opened its doors in August of 2014, under the management of owner and pharmacist, Robert Dowden. Having worked in the corporate world of pharmacy for the previous 25 years, Robert decided to open an independent pharmacy of his own. We also offer vaccinations. With no appointment necessary, and no prescription required for patients 14 years of age or older (age 7 and above for flu shots), we offer a convenient alternative to a doctor's office.
