Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory testscovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other domainswhile adhering to established guidelines.
• Interpret test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and uphold the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree that prepares you for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout employment.
