Overview

In this role you will lead the Brand Consulting team for a key Olympic partnerships client, shaping strategic concepts and activation across the Olympic ecosystem. You will serve as the primary client lead, drive cross-functional collaboration, and identify new growth opportunities to maximize sponsorship value. You will translate complex partnerships into integrated marketing programs across digital, PR, retail, and experiential channels. This is a performance-driven, high-impact role at a top agency shaping Olympic and Paralympic brands.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic oversight and management of Olympic/Paralympic partnerships (TOP Sponsors, USOPC, NGBs, OCOGs)
  • Develop and lead comprehensive partnership strategies and asset optimization
  • Lead negotiations with rights holders and manage stakeholder alignment
  • Own senior client relationships and act as trusted advisor
  • Oversee integrated marketing and activation plans across channels
  • Identify new Olympic Movement opportunities and athlete/talent strategies
  • Mentor and develop account teams; ensure operational continuity
  • Lead activation planning and ensure contractual rights and brand goals are met
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics to establish KPIs, ROI, and optimization
  • Oversee budgeting, briefs, and executive-level presentations
  • Drive year-over-year account growth
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (or similar)
  • 8-10+ years in sports marketing, brand partnerships, sponsorship consulting, media rights, and agency leadership
  • Proven track record negotiating and managing Olympics/Paralympics partnerships
  • Experience managing global sports sponsorships, contracts, activation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Established relationships with governing bodies, rights holders, talent reps, and partners
  • Ability to drive ROI/ROO through partnership strategies
  • Experience end-to-end sponsorship programs from contract to activation and renewal
  • Strong client service and executive communication skills
  • Leadership experience mentoring high-performing teams
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours
