Overview As a Contractor Key Account Manager for the West, you will lead the strategy and relationship with large contractor accounts in the West region, driving wallet share, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with the ABB Industry, Buildings and Channel team to align cross-functional efforts and growth actions. You'll map business drivers and emerging risks to ABB opportunities, shape account plans, and manage executive relationships. This remote role offers regional travel and the chance to impact electrification solutions at scale.

Responsibilities- Develop and execute the account plan and SoW growth actions for assigned contractor accounts in the West
- Manage executive relationships and coordinate cross-functional sales activities
- Track pipeline, monitor projects, and resolve key customer issues
- Grow share of wallet and profitability while elevating customer satisfaction
- Understand business drivers and risks (sustainability, digital, cybersecurity) and translate to ABB impacts and opportunities
- Contribute to sales strategy for the account with current and long-term plans
- Set sales targets, monitor market dynamics and competitors, implement response strategies
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; marketing degree or equivalent considered
- 12 years of electrical industry experience, including contractor and distributor exposure in the specified US regions
- Strong understanding of Electrification products and experience quoting contractor projects
- Experience in market analysis and development planning with a structured approach
- Technical background with low/medium voltage electrical equipment preferred
- Willingness to travel; preferred base in NV, AZ, UT or CO
- US work authorization for ABB
