Overview As a Food Service Manager at Aramark, you will lead dining operations to meet client needs and ensure safe, high quality service. You will manage front of house activities and partner with the Food Service Director to deliver finished products that satisfy customers. You drive performance through coaching, cost controls, and adherence to safety standards while pursuing financial targets and operational excellence. This role offers impact by shaping service delivery in a multi unit dining environment and partnering with cross functional teams to sustain client relationships. Your leadership will help teams grow, improve margins, and uphold Aramark's service standards and values.
Responsibilities- Develop and coach team members using Aramark's coaching model
- Reward and recognize employees to drive engagement
- Ensure performance aligns with client objectives and goals
- Plan and lead daily team briefings
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards across operations
- Identify client needs and report progress
- Oversee P&L maintenance and financial targets
- Educate teams on performance metrics, data, and margin levers
- Drive efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
- Adhere to Operational Excellence in food and labor initiatives
- Ensure team training and capability to implement standards
- Supervise production, quality, and control in dining operations
- Lead front of house in conjunction with the Food Service Director
- Coordinate food service activities to deliver finished product
- Support ongoing skill development and adaptability in duties
Key requirements- 1+ year of experience in a management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain client and customer rapport
- Excellent customer service using Aramark's service model
- Ability to collaborate with other departments for a unified dining experience
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lb and standing for extended periods
