Overview As Sr. Production Quality Engineer, you will drive component quality and reliability across memory, storage, CPU, and GPU for Supermicro systems. You'll partner with component vendors and cross functional teams to embed robust quality controls from sourcing to shipment. Responsibilities- Monitor and control quality/reliability of key components at the customer side (Memory, Storage, CPU, GPU)
- Manage quality control procedures to enhance product quality
- Collaborate with LAB and engineering teams to improve detectability of component errors
- Own and drive supplier quality improvement initiatives
- Recommend changes to improve component quality control
- Work with cross functional teams to set quality standards for new products
- Investigate component quality issues and provide actionable feedback to the customer support team
- Maintain end-to-end quality across sourcing to shipment processes
Key requirements- 8+ years leading cross functional teams in a hardware context
- Experience in product promotion or marketing in hardware components preferred
- ODM/OEM project experience preferred
- Ability to engage with vendors and clients to create ecosystem partnerships a plus
- Strong analytical, marketing and project management skills with track record of execution
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Hands on experience with key components (Memory, Storage, CPU, GPU)
- Understanding of server hardware features and market knowledge
