Overview In this role you will manage civil construction and fencing projects in the Cleveland/Akron area, driving on-time, on-budget delivery. You will review plans and specs and coordinate with owners, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to align with project goals. You will shepherd preconstruction through closeout, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing, while monitoring schedules and costs. You will help mitigate risks and optimize project execution within a security-focused context. This is a chance to shape complex, high impact projects for Fortune 100 clients.

Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Review plans, specs, contracts, and scope to understand requirements
- Prepare, price, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and additional work
- Coordinate project billing and related documentation
- Collaborate with field leadership, vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams to maintain schedules and budgets
- Identify scope gaps, contract risks, schedule impacts, and cost concerns and communicate them proactively
- Support procurement, material tracking, project coordination, and job cost review as needed
Key requirements- 5 to 10 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, fencing, or related field
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and review construction plans and project documents
- Experience reviewing contracts and understanding scope, terms, requirements, and risks
- Familiarity with project billing, pricing change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documentation, and project administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
