Overview In this role you will lead the strategy, design, administration, and compliance for Consigli's benefit programs. You will drive new health and welfare initiatives to foster a wellness culture while controlling costs. You'll collaborate with the senior HR team to craft annual benefits packages, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and welfare initiatives in collaboration with the business
- Oversee day-to-day administration of medical, dental, disability, life insurance, and related plans
- Lead the annual benefits program package design and present recommendations to senior management
- Manage fiduciary obligations and respond to ERISA benefit claims and inquiries
- Supervise vendors for plan administration and ensure compliance with plan documents and laws
- Coordinate with third-party enrollment provider for new plan year and conduct system testing
- Lead open enrollment processes and communications, including Summary Plan Descriptions
- Create and distribute employee benefits communications during and outside Open Enrollment
- Monitor costs and effectiveness of programs to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Serve as primary contact for vendor relationships
Key requirements- 6+ years in Benefits/HR, with at least 3 years managing a benefits function or in a benefits-focused firm
- Knowledgeable in health and retirement benefits design, regulatory environment, wellness initiatives, and market trends
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and contracts (RFPs)
- Ability to design, measure, and monitor benefits and wellness programs
- Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive information and escalation resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and excellent presentation skills
