Overview As the Incubation SP&O Leader, you will architect the sell-side operating model to translate strategy into scalable GTM for new Cisco incubations. You partner with the Incubation VP and leadership to define processes, cadence, and governance that drive early products from 0 to 1 through to Core. You'll balance cross-functional coordination with data-driven governance to enable predictable, repeatable sales motions for emerging offerings. This role offers a high-impact path to shape how new platforms reach customers.

Responsibilities- Strategic partner to the Incubation VP on GTM, resourcing, and portfolio prioritization
- Define and run the SP&O cadence (QBRs, forecast reviews, leadership reporting)
- Design GTM strategies and sales plays aligned to product maturity
- Build sales readiness processes, tools, and onboarding for new products
- Support stage-gate framework to graduate products from Incubation to Core or Hyper-Specialist
- Determine compensation plans and territory models in collaboration with Finance
- Lead a small team (2-3 SP&O professionals) and assign coverage across products and partnerships
- Represent Incubation SP&O in cross-functional planning with Central Global Specialist Sales, BE, Enablement, Finance, and CX
Key requirements- 12+ years in sales strategy, sales operations, or equivalent in tech/software sales
- 5+ years crafting or coordinating sales compensation plans and territory models
- Proven ability to build GTM processes or sales motions from scratch in ambiguous environments
- 4+ years partnering with senior sales leadership (VP-level) as an operating partner
- 2+ years people leadership experience or readiness to lead a team
