Overview As a Project Manager at Lunda Construction, you will lead cross disciplinary teams on major heavy civil infrastructure projects from Rosemount, MN, representing the firm with clients and stakeholders. You will manage budgets, procurement, and change control to ensure profitable delivery, while pursuing additional work and coordinating with regulators and partners. Responsibilities- Lead inter-disciplinary teams across multiple heavy civil infrastructure projects to ensure successful delivery
- Act as the company representative with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and projections to ensure profitability and accurate reporting
- Procure materials and coordinate labor resources to complete projects
- Negotiate scope changes with clients and key subcontractors
- Market and secure additional work and manage project change processes
- Deliver Federal and State funded infrastructure projects in alignment with team and leadership
- Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (5+ years in construction PM)
- 5+ years of related construction PM experience; heavy highway or structural experience preferred
- Ability to manage projects and interface with clients; hands-on orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of industry standards; ability to read drawings and specifications
- Computer proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with industry software (preferred: Primavera/P6, HCSS, AASHTOWare)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience with CPM scheduling, cost reporting, RFI's, change orders, T&M billing
