Overview As Project Manager, you oversee electrical and mission-critical construction projects to ensure safety, profitability, schedule, and quality. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, aligning scope, materials, and resources with project plans. You lead meetings, monitor progress, and maintain client relationships to drive successful project closeouts. You'll balance operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. This role offers impact through leading field teams and shaping project outcomes in a growing electrical firm.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and staff electrical and mission-critical construction projects to meet safety, profitability, timeliness, and quality standards
- Schedule and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and information to meet scope and construction schedules
- Oversee on-site supervision of superintendents, field supervisors, crews, and apprentices
- Review project documents, plans, and specifications; direct construction activities; resolve issues; manage closings
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure project cost, time, and quality targets
- Visit jobsites to monitor progress, promote safety, and engage with customers and contractors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain customer relationships
Key requirements- Bachelor degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalence considered
- 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field preferred; similar experience considered
- Completion of or enrollment in an approved electrical apprenticeship program preferred
