Overview As Project Engineer at Comau, you drive engineering projects from proposal to customer sign-off, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence. You collaborate with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to align requirements and deliver homogeneous solutions across commodities. You manage risks, change activity, and open issues while keeping stakeholders informed and projects on track. This role offers hands-on impact in a high scale automation environment and a chance to shape engineering delivery and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with customers, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Review customer requirements, specifications, and baseline planning to align all parties
- Manage project schedule and budget, monitor scope changes and cost impacts
- Serve as Customer Technical Interface and provide timely feedback to suppliers
- Lead engineering change processes, define technical solutions, and plan change execution
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements for site installations
- Document lessons learned and manage non-conformities and open issues
- Oversee multiple project reviews (internal, customer, supplier) and keep KPI reports updated
- Support supplier evaluation and lesson learned documentation
- Ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards and norms
Key requirements- five years' experience in automation or automotive, preferably Powertrain
- strong project management and cost estimation capabilities
