Overview In this role, you will develop and interpret financial models and analyses to support performance across the galvanizing division. You will work with the finance team and operating departments to drive accuracy in cost, budget, and inventory reporting. You will deliver insights on margins, outsourcing/CapEx ROI, and KPI development to enable informed decision-making. Responsibilities- Manage month-end close and produce monthly financial reports
- Prepare gross margin and project profitability analyses by product line
- Assist in monthly P&L forecasting and annual budgets for the galvanizing division
- Analyze manufacturing costs; compare actuals to forecasts and budgets
- Report sales backlog and pipeline for the business unit
- Compute ROI on CAPEX projects and advise operations
- Develop financial models and KPIs; support continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize turnover; perform cycle counts and reconciliation
- Support external audit with documentation and inquiries
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial analyses and cross-functional tasks
Key requirements- Bachelor in Accounting
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience in manufacturing with job cost accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices; budgets, general ledger, cost accounting
- Experience in financial modeling and written/verbal presentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to analyze data and trends
