Overview In this role you lead Weston's compensation strategy and HRIS operations to deliver competitive, compliant, data-informed people programs. You partner with leaders to design pay structures, incentives, and governance, while steering HRIS roadmaps and data integrity. You collaborate across HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance to implement systems, reports, and analytics that support current needs and future growth. You supervise a small team and influence the broader HR and payroll functions to improve employee experience.

Responsibilities- Design and administer Weston's compensation programs (base pay, incentives, salary structures, annual planning)
- Analyze market data and internal equity to set ranges and budgets
- Align rewards with performance and business outcomes; ensure accurate payments
- Advise managers on compensation decisions, job classification, and reward practices
- Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour laws (FLSA, SCA, Davis-Bacon) and reporting
- Own HRIS roadmap; coordinate with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance and vendors
- Lead HRIS implementations, upgrades, testing, and change management
- Oversee HRIS governance (security, org structures, workflows, compensation elements)
- Ensure reliable integrations with external vendors and robust data governance
- Develop dashboards/reports/documentation; enable self-service and data transparency
- Provide system user training and translate technical concepts to business users
- Manage HR portal content; stay current on HR technology trends and vendor offerings
- Lead and develop the HR and Payroll teams in Compensation and HRIS
- Identify process improvements using data, analytics, and technology
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years in compensation, HRIS, or HR analytics with leadership of complex programs
- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation, incentive administration, wage-and-hour requirements
- Experience administering short-term incentives; long-term incentives preferred
- HRIS administration, implementation, testing, integration, reporting, data governance, and vendor management
- Workday experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in SQL and reporting tools; advanced MS Office; SharePoint
- Excellent communication and presenting skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
