Overview As a Construction Project Manager, you will own end-to-end commercial boiler, heating, and plumbing projects from bidding to closeout. You will lead the office side, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with the field Superintendent, engineers, and clients. Responsibilities- Own full project lifecycle for commercial boiler, heating, and plumbing installations ($2M-$20M), from estimating to closeout
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and cost reports
- Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; process change orders
- Coordinate with Superintendent on sequencing, materials, and subcontractor scopes
- Serve as primary client contact; provide regular status updates
- Lead meetings with clients, engineers, architects, and city agencies
- Manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, invoicing, and pay apps
- Support bidding and proposal development for new opportunities
- Drive project closeout, punch lists, and final documentation
Key requirements- 5+ years of PM experience in commercial mechanical/HVAC/boiler/plumbing construction with a contractor in those trades
- Strong background in boilers, hydronic/steam heating, plumbing, or mechanical construction
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and change orders on multi-million projects
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and mechanical/plumbing plans
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Proficiency with project management/scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
