Overview In this role you will lead on-site execution for commercial and medical facility projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will work closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors to drive progress in occupied healthcare sites. You'll manage infection control and life-safety requirements, coordinate multi-trade teams, and support project closeout with thorough documentation. This is an impact role for delivering safe, compliant healthcare construction at scale.

Responsibilities- Direct on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and vendors to meet milestones
- Enforce safety programs, lead toolbox talks, and ensure OSHA and site-specific plans including ICRA compliance
- Manage quality control and inspections against contract documents and codes
- Monitor schedule with project management to identify delays and implement recovery
- Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and maintain daily logs and documentation
- Serve as main on-site contact for clients, architects, consultants, and inspectors; run pre-installation and progress meetings
- Coordinate deliveries, site access, and staging to minimize disruptions on occupied medical facilities and maintain infection control
- Oversee commissioning, punch lists, final inspections, turnover packages, and O&M manuals
- Track labor productivity and support cost control and subcontractor performance
Key requirements- 5+ years as a commercial construction superintendent
- Experience supervising medical or urgent care projects preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare construction requirements and infection control protocols (ICRA, HEPA, FGI Guidelines, NFPA, life-safety)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for coordinating multi-trade crews and client relations on occupied sites
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and building codes
- OSHA 30-hour or equivalent safety training; CPR/First Aid and additional medical construction training preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screenings
- Ability to lift/move materials, work extended hours, and travel between sites
