Overview

In this role you partner with senior leaders in Technology, Product, and related functions to shape talent strategy and organizational effectiveness at a leading media brand. You will balance strategic workforce initiatives with hands-on business partnering, driving performance, succession, and employee engagement to support business performance. As a visible HR leader, you coach executives, manage a small HRBP team, and act as a trusted advisor on complex employee and labor relations matters. You will work across Centers of Excellence to leverage data and people insights for decisive talent actions, all within an inclusive, high-performing culture. This is a strategic, hands-on opportunity,

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders across Technology, Product, and related functions
  • Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness
  • Lead performance, talent review, and succession planning processes
  • Coach leaders through employee relations, organizational change, and transformation
  • Manage and develop a team of two HR Business Partners
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence in talent, compensation, ER, inclusion, and people operations
  • Use workforce data and people insights to support business decisions and talent outcomes
  • Drive key people initiatives aligned to business priorities
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture
  • Serve as a hands-on HR partner in complex employee and labor relations matters
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
  • Experience supporting technology, engineering, product, digital, or innovation-focused organizations
  • Prior people leadership experience
  • Strong employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching capabilities
  • Experience in both unionized and non-union environments
  • Track record partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions
  • Experience operating within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage people data
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
