Overview Lead end-to-end financial reporting for Chubb Life's international operations, ensuring accuracy, GAAP compliance, and strong internal controls. Partner with local markets and Corporate teams to drive reporting quality, policy adherence, and continuous improvements. Influence cross-functional stakeholders and mentor the global controllership team, shaping the segment's financial narrative and efficiency. Responsibilities- Oversee monthly close and quarterly reporting for all subsidiaries under U.S. GAAP and corporate policies
- Review and validate subsidiary reporting packages and disclosures for accuracy and completeness
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex issues and collaborate with stakeholders to implement practical solutions
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting and coordinate with auditors
- Support strategic business initiatives from accounting/reporting perspectives and design appropriate controls
- Define and execute a continuous improvement roadmap for reporting, including automation opportunities
- Provide oversight, coaching, and development to Global Office controllership staff
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive financial accounting and reporting experience in insurance (Life) and U.S. GAAP
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP reporting, consolidation, and internal controls; LDTI disclosure experience preferred
- International insurance operation and public accounting experience preferred
- Strong leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with Corporate and local markets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones (APAC focus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
