Overview In this role you join the Houston Corporate Department to support M&A, capital markets and general corporate work for energy-sector clients. You will work on upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions, oilfield service deals, and related energy industry participants, including potential MLP transactions. The opportunity centers on handling complex corporate transactions within a high-impact energy market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful deal outcomes and client value.
Responsibilities- Support mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and general corporate work for energy-sector clients
- Handle transactions involving upstream and midstream oil and gas companies and oilfield service providers
- Contribute to MLP-related transactions when applicable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute complex corporate deals
- Advise clients on regulatory, structuring, and transactional considerations in the energy space
Key requirements- 3 to 5 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and general corporate work
- Direct expertise in energy sector transactions (upstream/midstream oil and gas, oilfield service companies)
- Texas admission to practice preferred (not required stated)
