Overview In this role you will lead the integration and testing of space hardware and subsystems, guiding a team through complex test activities. You will translate customer needs into robust test solutions and oversee planning, scheduling, and execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure system readiness for launch and mission success. Responsibilities- Manage integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components and subsystems
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance, and recognition for team members
- Translate customer requirements into system test solutions considering schedule and cost
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Coordinate subsystem/system testing with programs and other organizations
- Lead establishment of functional/technical specifications and ensure full system integration
- Support a new IRAD program as Test Manager within the AITL organization
Key requirements- BS in Engineering/Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in Space Vehicle/Missile Integration and Test (Electrical, Mechanical, Ordnance, Environmental)
- Experience in Test Plan development and spacecraft/missile operations and test
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Leadership capabilities and team management
- Effective communication and briefing to program management
