Overview As a FAO Schwarz Toy Specialist you drive sales by delivering signature experiences and creating magical moments for guests. You will guide guests through personalized journeys within the Jewel Box, mastering rotating FAO experiences and adapting as products and processes evolve. You engage with guests on a high-energy, in person basis, showcasing products with confidence and a live, entertaining style. You work closely with cross functional teams to maintain store standards and guest delight.

Responsibilities- Perform in-house experiences per guidelines and add personal flair
- Embody experience characters using costumes, props, and backstories
- Engage guests with the FAO selling vision and build rapport
- Demonstrate product knowledge and features to guide exploration
- Stock refilling and basic merchandising to maintain floor layout
- Handle POS transactions following policies and procedures
- Maintain awareness of store layout and guest queries
- Wear and care for provided uniform
Key requirements- 1+ year in fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal ability
- Ability to perform for audiences to drive sales
- Experience in performance/acting/music/dance a plus
- Familiarity with premium/experience-based retailer a plus
- Engaging, theatrical personality; positive and in-character for extended periods
