Overview As Claims Director in our professional lines team, you will lead a portfolio of EPL and D&O claims, including litigation and coverage matters. You will guide adjudication and settlements, ensuring service standards and client requirements are met. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to manage complex claims and protect client interests. This role offers meaningful impact in shaping claims strategy for professional lines within a top insurance carrier.

Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of EPL and D&O claims, including mid to high-value cases with litigation
- Oversee adjudication to meet service standards and client requirements
- Negotiate settlements and provide coverage analysis for complex claims
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to support claims strategy and outcomes
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure consistent communication on claim status
Key requirements- 4+ years handling EPL and/or D&O claims for an insurance carrier
- Experience with coverage, litigation and complex claims matters
- Client relationship management experience
- Strong educational background - JD Law preferred
- Exposure to other professional lines claims beneficial
