Overview In this role you will support the HR function across multiple areas, helping to implement policies, systems, and programs. You will work closely with managers and teams to ensure smooth onboarding, HRIS integrity, and compliant recruitment and employee relations. The position offers exposure to payroll coordination, reporting, and workforce data management within a heavy industrial environment. Responsibilities- Support HRIS operations: data integrity, maintenance, reporting, and end-user training
- Assist in development and implementation of HR software solutions and procedures
- Administer talent acquisition tasks: job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing coordination, offer letters, onboarding
- Oversee general HR tasks: onboarding, job description updates, salary surveys, unemployment responses, performance and attendance input
- Coordinate with IT, Operations, and Payroll to ensure smooth onboarding and day-one experience for new hires
- Support affirmative action plan information mapping and related administration
- Assist with training initiatives, employee events, and surveys
- Maintain ATS records and monitor recruitment outreach for compliance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with at least 1 year of HR experience
- Experience with HRIS and ATS preferred
- Understanding of affirmative action and employment laws; willingness to learn
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to handle pressure calmly
- Valid driver's license
