Overview As Senior Guideway Civil Coordinator, you will support the civil engineering and construction activities for the elevated guideway, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards are met. You will work closely with Technical, Environmental, Quality, and Safety teams to keep the project on track and aligned with objectives. You will oversee roads and landscaping planning and coordinate with design teams on changes, while supervising subcontractors and maintaining project records. This role offers exposure to large-scale infrastructure in Canada's urban context, with a clear impact on safety, sustainability, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities- Coordinate civil engineering and construction activities within the elevated guideway project
- Coordinate with Technical, Environmental, Quality, and Safety departments to support construction success
- Support development and management of project schedules and provide status updates to the Civil Manager
- Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards in roads and landscaping
- Coordinate with design teams on design changes and issues
- Supervise subcontractors and construction teams to high standards
- Address and resolve construction issues and discrepancies
- Prepare regular progress reports (timelines, budget, issues)
- Review and validate subcontractor billings and maintain accurate records
- Facilitate meetings with internal and external parties to support construction
- Track and maintain project documentation (change orders, progress reports, quality docs, permits)
Key requirements- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a construction coordinator or similar role in large infrastructure projects
- Experience with subway projects is an asset
- Experience with infrastructure and roadworks in dense urban areas is an asset
- Experience with City of Toronto and OPSS standards and Metrolinx standards is an asset
- Problem solving and strong interpersonal communication with diverse teams
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and BlueBeam Revu
- AutoCAD is an asset
