Overview As Life Insurance Sales Manager, you will recruit, develop, and lead a team of agents while driving local territory growth. Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, train, and retain agents
- Lead in-person sales and door-to-door prospecting
- Coach agents through field ride-alongs and real-time training
- Build local presence via community networking to recruit and generate opportunities
- Drive territory growth by supporting agents in achieving sales goals
- Monitor agent activity and provide performance feedback
- Conduct field and phone-based business reviews focusing on compliance and customer engagement
- Demonstrate and reinforce use of company technology and sales tools
- Support customer needs in territories without agents by handling sales/servicing
- Partner with District Manager to share field insights and improve territory performance
Key requirements- Minimum 2 years in insurance sales, sales leadership, field training, or related role
- Active Life, Health, Property, and Casualty licenses in required states
- Proven success recruiting, developing, coaching sales professionals
- Strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills
- Willingness to spend 80% of time in the field with agents and customers
- Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, and adequate auto liability coverage
- Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening
