Senior Project Manager - Retail Construction

Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee owner's representative duties for large-scale retail construction, coordinating client, design, and contractor teams. You will drive schedule, budget, and quality across multiple projects while upholding Turner & Townsend standards. You'll shape project governance, reporting, and risk management to deliver on time and within budget. This role offers impact through guiding complex programs and fostering strong client relationships in a global firm.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all project stakeholders including client, architects, engineers, and general contractors
  • Lead design and GC procurement processes, prepare bid documents, respond to pre-bid RFIs, and bid leveling
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with critical path focus and monitor schedule performance
  • Ensure governance, processes, and TT best practices are applied on projects
  • Produce formal status reports (monthly and ad-hoc) and maintain trackers (permits, inspections)
  • Oversee multiple construction projects concurrently with time, cost, and quality control
  • Create and monitor high-level project budgets and validate budgets as needed
  • Oversee design reviews to ensure client standards, and conduct drawing reviews for completeness/constructibility
  • Facilitate project information flow across teams with proactive communication and documentation
  • Identify and manage project risks and commercial issues, implementing mitigation as needed
  • Manage client relationships to maximize opportunities and provide strategic guidance to teams
  • Capture and apply lessons learned to future projects
  • Adhere to SOX controls where applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience in retail construction
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction PM tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Korean language proficiency and/or experience with Korean clients is a plus
