Overview As a Project Manager, you lead design and construction projects across interior, retail, restaurant, and commercial sectors from concept to closeout. You ensure on-time delivery, budget control, quality, and aligned client expectations. You will coordinate with designers, contractors, clients, and vendors to manage fit-outs and rollouts. Your work shapes delivery processes and drive project success, with mentoring opportunities for junior staff.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and mitigate risks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
- Serve as primary client contact: manage expectations, present updates, resolve issues, secure approvals
- Review and manage project documentation including contracts, scopes of work, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, safety, and quality
- Control procurement and materials coordination to meet design standards and timelines
- Implement and enforce project controls, QA processes, and safety protocols
- Prepare and present status reports, financial forecasts, and post-project evaluations
- Mentor junior project staff and contribute to process improvements
Key requirements- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of project management experience in interiors, retail, restaurant, or commercial construction environments
- Proven track record managing full project lifecycle including tenant fit-outs, retail rollouts, or restaurant build-outs
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, permit processes, and contract administration
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar) and MS Office
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and change orders
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent are a plus
