Overview As a Project Engineer, you take ownership from initiation to in-service, delivering gas facility design and integrated packages for distribution and transmission systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate concepts into build-ready designs while ensuring quality and code compliance. The role blends hands-on design work with field execution and construction support, within a hybrid office setting in Centennial, CO. You'll mentor juniors and contribute to innovative, safety-first projects that modernize essential infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Size, select, and integrate engineered equipment from OEMs into design packages
- Develop IFR and IFB design packages and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Provide quality oversight aligned with ENTRUST ISO 9001 procedures
- Collaborate with CAD teams to translate concepts into detailed drawings
- Engage with clients through meetings and site visits to capture requirements
- Support construction kickoff, field execution, and site visits as needed
- Mentor junior engineers and distribute tasks to meet milestones
- Draft field procedures for gas system clearances, testing, and tie-in
- Act as person in charge to coordinate safe execution of bringing new facilities online
- Ensure designs meet Federal, State, and municipal codes and client standards
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (degree)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in gas utility engineering or facility design
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (PM, design, drafting, controls)
