Overview

In this role you will shape and execute Kemper's enterprise-wide learning and development strategy, designing scalable programs that accelerate performance and leadership capability. You will partner with HR and business leaders to align development with culture and strategic objectives, leading a team of L&D professionals and driving data-driven improvements. The position focuses on enterprise-scale programs, Workday Learning optimization, and measuring impact to foster a culture of continuous learning. Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee an end-to-end enterprise L&D strategy aligned with culture and objectives
  • Design scalable, modern learning frameworks and blended delivery methods
  • Advise leaders and HR partners to translate needs into development plans that boost performance
  • Collaborate with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Business HR to support career progression
  • Lead and develop a high-performing L&D team to meet objectives and foster innovation
  • Deliver core enterprise learning programs and ensure curriculum relevance and engagement
  • Optimize Workday Learning for enterprise adoption, curation, and data-driven decisions
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, transfer, and ROI; use insights to improve solutions
  • Lead a community of practice with L&D leaders to standardize practices and share knowledge
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in learning and development, organizational development, or talent management
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise L&D strategy and execution
  • Strong people management and team-building experience
  • Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and organizational learning
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-scale programs with measurable business impact
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align learning with goals
  • Experience with Workday Learning and related HCM systems a plus
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management; ability to influence senior leadership
