Overview In this role you will design and implement production-grade electronics for sophisticated 3D printing systems, bridging analog and digital domains. You will collaborate with the Electrical Engineering team to develop prototypes, validate hardware, and evolve system-level architectures. You'll use data-driven methods to steer design decisions and mentor peers as you scale solutions across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities- Design and build production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, bring-up and validation
- Develop sensing and motion systems from scratch when off-the-shelf options fail
- Apply scientific methods to engineering challenges: run experiments, collect data, and inform decisions
- Grow into owning system-level architecture and mentor other engineers
Key requirements- 3 years of experience designing production-ready electronics
- Portfolio demonstrating skills and experience
- Ability to back design choices with data
- Comfort with both hardware and software tasks: bare-metal firmware, embedded Linux, Python tooling
