Overview In this role you lead complex data center projects and drive growth for McKinstry's Data Center Innovations division. You'll manage client relationships, guide sales-to-delivery processes, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy. You'll act as the primary interface for project financials, contracts, and risk, while fostering cross-functional collaboration. This is an opportunity to shape large-scale, mission-driven construction programs that reduce climate impact in the built environment.

Responsibilities- Lead business development, sales, and client services to win and deliver projects
- Position McKinstry's offerings with target markets and cultivate new growth opportunities
- Manage key accounts and industry relationships to support revenue goals
- Oversee opportunity-to-booking-to-operations cycle including RFQ/RFPs, interviews, contracts, and proposals
- Drive pursuit strategies and competitive analysis to win projects or clients
- Act as primary client interface for project objectives, financials, contracts, and technical matters
- Oversee project execution: contract management, financial reporting, safety/quality reviews, risk mitigation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, preconstruction, estimating, accounting, purchasing, marketing)
- Define team responsibilities, coach staff, and ensure timely stakeholder reporting
- Promote a One McKinstry culture and leverage offerings for preconstruction and delivery
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years construction experience with large projects, including 5+ years in a leadership role and in sales leadership
- Experience on large data center projects
- Proven proficiency in project controls, financials, risk management, and estimating
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and team leadership
- Ability to organize people, delegate, and manage multiple activities
- Commitment to quality, integrity, and client satisfaction
- Knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, equipment selection, labor relations, and financial programs/software
- DBIA certification preferred
