Overview As Director of Credit Operations, lead global operations across alternative/private credit and CLO platforms, driving scalability, governance, and efficiency. You'll partner with senior leadership to implement best practices, build infrastructure, and manage complex debt instruments. This role focuses on control, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration to prepare for new products and fund launches. You will shape operational excellence in a fast-growing, high-stakes environment.
Responsibilities- Lead global operations across alternative/private credit strategies and CLO platforms
- Oversee outsourced operations teams with SLA governance
- Drive operational readiness for new products, mandates, and fund launches
- Develop and monitor operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Ensure accurate support for complex debt instruments and bespoke financing structures
- Collaborate with portfolio management, treasury, finance, investor relations, and legal/compliance
- Oversee vendor management and service provider oversight
- Partner with technology teams on systems architecture, automation, and integrations
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation and escalation protocols
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree required
- 15+ years in investment operations or credit operations
- Experience managing large operational teams and outsourced providers
- Deep knowledge of alternative/private credit workflows and CLO structures
- Experience with trustees, administrators, custodians, agent banks, and third-party providers
- Proficiency with investment operations systems, data platforms, and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory considerations
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and project management skills
